GROW GRANTS to Support Mission and Ministry
In March 2022, the CHUMC Leadership Team established a fund to assist in the development of new ministries and to offer additional support to ministries or mission experiencing growth and or innovation at Colonial Heights UMC.
The goal of all approved grants is to accomplish the goals of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church to make disciples for the transformation of the world
Again, the purpose of this grant is to support growth and innovation. It is not designed to pay for debt and existing ministry operational costs or used to pay salaries or stipends.
Grow Grant Recipients Include: CHUMC Children's Ministry, Kitchen of Hope Meals, ETSU Wesley Foundation Support, Dzobo United Methodist Church in Zimbabwe, Czech Mission in Vimperk
- Only Completed and Signed Applications will be accepted
- Funding is limited. Not all ministries will be approved for Grow Grant funding
- Grant applications will be acceptd on or before the third Sunday of each month. Drop off in the Leadership Team mailbox in the church office or by emailing: office@chumckpt.org
- Grant Applications will be reviewed and approved by the Leadership Team. The project coordinator will be notified of a decision by the Leadership Team
- Grant recipients will prepare a written report of activities and outcomes
