Michael Smith, Youth Director

Growing up as a son of a UMC pastor, Michael has had the opportunity to participate in a several youth groups including CHUMC’s youth ministry. While working on his degree at East Tennessee State University, Michael heard God’s call to ministry. In March 2008, Michael was hired as the new CHUMC youth director and loves ministering to youth.

Clay Holt, President

A senior at Sullivan South High School, Clay is a positive and loving guy. He’s constantly building his relationship with God, helped design our CRAVE worship, and is heavily involved in our AV ministry. Clay is planning to attend ETSU next year with hopes of medical school. |

Rachel Buckles, Vice President

Rachel, a senior at Sullivan South High School, has a passionate relationship with God and she is always willing to help those in need. She’s idealistic, and has her future goals set high. |

William “Cham” & Conti McMillin, Sr. High Faith Group Leaders |
Passionate about youth ministry, Cham & Conti have been a Godsend for our youth ministry. After their kids were so affected by youth ministry, they have been constantly rallying support to minister to youth and have servant’s hearts. They lead our Monday night Sr. High Faith Group and are always there for our senior high youth. |
